We are pleased to introduce you to “The Chinese Press”. It is the first Chinese weekly newspaper in Quebec.

The Chinese Press was established in 1981, and it is the most influential media to the Chinese Communities and more than 100,000 Chinese people in Montreal. The cost per copy is 60¢.

The contents include international news, local news, Chinese community news (Local, North America and overseas), financial news, entertainment, an editorial page for readers to express their views and opinions, real estate, classified, general information, columns for free lance columnists … etc.

There is a free distribution to over 80 Chinese communities and we provide a subscription service to businesses and families.  These include Montreal Island (City of Montreal, Ville St-Laurent, Cote des Neiges, Lasalle, Ville St-Leonard, Ville D’Anjou … etc.), West Island (Dorval, Dollard des Ormeaux, Kirkland, Pointe-Claire … etc.), South Shore (Brossard, St-Hubert, St-Lambert, Longueuil, Chambly), North Shore and Ottawa.

It is the premier Chinese newspaper in Quebec with a substantial number of subscribers across Canada, United States and overseas. Our readers range in age from young adults to seniors.  The majority of these readers come from Hong Kong, Taiwan and China.
